Corruption and Its Impact
Corruption and Its Impact
Corruption creeps through every door,
Taking more, and giving poor.
With silent hands, it steals away,
The hopes we build, the dreams we pray.
Leaders smile with empty grace,
But in their hearts, there’s no true place.
For honesty, they push aside,
To chase the power, wealth, and pride.
The roads are cracked, the schools decay,
While greedy ones take all away.
The hungry wait, the sick grow weak,
Yet justice is too shy to speak.
Opportunities fade from every sight,
As money rules what's wrong or right.
The honest fight, but often fail,
For truth is sold like goods for sale.
In broken homes, despair is seen,
As corruption paints the future lean.
Yet still we hope, and still we try,
For one true day when lies will die.
If we stand strong and face the fight,
We’ll bring an end to this dark night.
For a world of fairness, bright and free,
The fight will be continued, for you and me.
